Why choose AIMM?
Keep production flowing. With AIMM’s patented Hydrokinetics cleaning process, you can expect for your production to be back up and running sooner! Our Hydrokinetic cleaning process clears pipes that other methods simply can’t. Looking for a faster, safer, and more affordable solution? You’ve found it: AIMM’s Hydrokinetics.
Description of service:
Hydrokinetics is a revolutionary method for cleaning the "un-cleanable," including piping, tubes, and process equipment in plastics, chemical, refining, municipal, offshore, and government facilities.
How it works:
The technology of our Hydrokinetic cleaning process is based on the induction of “sonic resonance” into the cleaning water stream. This sonic resonance travels through the water stream and safely transfers to both the tube and the fouling material. Because of the different compositions of the tube and the fouling material, they resonate at different frequencies, breaking the bond between them and allowing the fouling to be expelled quite easily. Hydrokinetics is the faster, simpler, safer solution!
Hydrokinetics typically requires only half the time of traditional cleaning methods, saving you man-hours, reducing downtime, and increasing your production capabilities.
Safer
There has never been a recordable incident associated with the process in the entire history of the company. This is due to the lack of exposure to high-pressure water or chemicals.
Cleaner
The process can clean applications where other methods fail. Fully plugged lines, tight spaces, critical path applications or difficult materials: Hydrokinetics can clean the lines.
Greener
Hydrokinetics uses much less water than traditional methods. No chemicals are required. Cleaning jobs typically require less time, reducing the time necessary for the use of motorized equipment.
More Affordable
Most cleaning is performed in place. So there’s no need to remove equipment, build expensive scaffolding, make cuts in piping or chemical disposal. The end result is a much less expensive total job cost.
A Revolutionary Approach
Many materials can clog pipes and tubes, causing you decreased production, increased downtime, and thousands in lost dollars. AIMM’s revolutionary Hydrokinetics process has been able to save managers like you thousands and thousands of dollars and has cleaned pipes that were thought to be un-cleanable.
We Solve Problems Others Cannot
If you’re faced with the following problems, Hydrokinetics could be the solution for you:
Totally blocked tubes
Possible re-tubing or replacement
Oddly-shaped bundles
Difficult fouling materials
Messy cleanup
Use of runway scaffolding
Tight space requirements
Crane removal of bundles
Use of hazardous chemicals
Cleaning of tubes where sparks are a risk
Replacement of tubes due to blockage
Low heat coefficient due to residual
Shutting down process lines frequently because of the residual left after cleaning
Hydrokinetics Gets the Job Done
Hydrokinetics can do jobs that hydroblasting, lancing, drilling, baking, acidizing and more cannot! So how does Hydrokinetics work, and why is it the best solution to resolve your most difficult, time consuming and expensive problems? Take a look at the innovative technology involved in Hydrokinetics...
How It Works
The technology of our Hydrokinetics cleaning process for the clearing and cleaning of fouled interiors of tubes, pipes and lines is based on the induction of a sonic resonance into the cleaning water stream.
This sonic resonance travels through the water stream and safely transfers to both the tube and the fouling material, all without putting stress on your piping.
Because of the different compositions of the tube and the fouling material, they resonate at different frequencies, breaking the bond between them and allowing the fouling to be expelled quite easily.
The fouling material is flushed out of the pipe by the water stream. If necessary, a bullet made of a hardened plastic is placed in the end of the tube and pushes the broken up fouling material out. Fouling is generally seen extruding from the end of the tube in large, snake-like pieces, rather than particulated as seen in conventional hydroblasting.
Hydrokinetics uses less water than traditional clearing methods. Plus if you have pyrophoric and chemical instability applications, it’s possible to use fluid media other than water.
And because our equipment is compact, a unit and technician can be easily dispatched to a customer’s trouble-site anywhere in the world, provided a conventional plunger pump of adequate capacity (10.000 PSI @ 20 GPM) and service air (120 PSI) is available.

Benefits
Faster
Many of our clients claim that AIMM can prepare equipment, clean an entire exchanger, and get out of the facility before some traditional cleaning companies can even get through the first rows. Obviously this element of speed results in less downtime and increased production, all making the process more lucrative for you.
Simpler
Hydrokinetics can do jobs that hydroblasting, lancing, drilling, baking acidizing and more cannot. And because our equipment is compact, a unit and technician can be easily dispatched to a customer’s trouble-site anywhere in the world, provided a conventional plunger pump of adequate capacity (10.000 PSI @ 20 GPM) and service air (120 PSI) is available. Hydrokinetics also is one of the most environmentally conscious approaches to pipe clearing. Learn more...
Safer
Hydrokinetics is the safest of all the cleaning methods available. Our technicians and your employees are never exposed to any dangerous, high-pressure water that is commonly used in other cleaning procedures. Safety is built into the Hydrokinetics design. Instead of chipping away at process line blockage, the fouling material is cleared out of the opposite end of the pipes, away from our technicians and plant personnel. AIMM proudly carries a 100% safety record.
The Ultimate Advantage
Reduced man-hours for pipe fitting
Most lines and heat exchangers can be cleaned in place
Faster cleaning than conventional methods
Greatly reduced downtime, positively impacting production time
Reduced wear and tear on your equipment
Significant decrease in total job costs
Reduced environmental impact
Safest of all available cleaning methods

How it works:
Our revolutionary SURE™ procedure is similar to Hydrokinetics, with changes and adaptations specifically for the offshore industry. The process is based on the induction of a “sonic resonance" into the line. This sonic resonance travels through the piping and safely transfers to both the tube and the fouling material. Because of the different compositions of the tube and the fouling material, they resonate at different frequencies, breaking the bond between them and allowing the fouling to be expelled quite easily. AIMM's SURE™ procedure is the faster, simpler, safer solution.
